21 Seconds Racing
Many people around the world have heard of thoroughbred racing and the Kentucky Derby, but not so many have heard about the sport of American quarter horse racing. My name is Colt White and I will mainly talk about the big stakes races going on throughout the busy racing year as well as my picks for those races. The name 21 seconds comes from the fact that the classic quarter horse distance is 440 yards and on average quarter horses cover that quarter mile distance in about 21 seconds. A lot of quarter horse action taking place this weekend. Kicking it off with the trials on Friday for the Mountain Top Futurity for New Mexico bred two year olds at Ruidoso. Saturday is the last night of quarter horse racing at Remington Park topping it all off with the Heritage Place Futurity. The Dash For Speed Stakes is also at Ruidoso on Sunday
